Chris Benson got started with computers when he was about 10 years old, but it would be nearly 20 years before he would make them his career. After college, he got his professional start in 1997 with Symantec Corporation, the makers of the popular 'Norton' line of anti-virus and security software. After spending 6 years as a Sr. Software Engineer working on the latest cutting-edge security software, his job was relocated down to southern California. As a native Oregonian he was not in a hurry to leave the Pacific Northwest, so he decided that would be a great time to become his own boss and try his hand as an entrepreneur.
